Hydrating agent of marine origin, sacran, has a remarkable water retention power, approximately 6 times higher than that of hyaluronic acid. Macomolecule or polymer, it forms a protective film on the skin's surface, thus preserving it from water loss and external aggressions.

Sacran is also known for its soothing properties. Recommended for all skin types, even the most sensitive.

This hydrating agent is extracted from a blue algae called suizenji nori (Phyllederum sacrum), which is believed to be the first plant to release oxygen on Earth.

Suizenji nori is cultivated in mineral-rich underground waters of Mount Aso. This algae, considered very precious, is designated a natural monument of Japan and is found only in this region of Kyushu. Dried suizenji nori is particularly rich in minerals such as calcium and iron.

The Ritual

You can add a few drops of this essence to your skincare products (lotions, masks, and creams) to customize them, or use it as a serum on targeted areas.

- As a serum: After washing your face, pour a few drops of the product into the palm of your hand and spread it evenly over your entire face.

- With a cream: After applying a lotion or essence to clean, dry face, take a sufficient amount of moisturizer into the palm of your hand and add a few drops of the product. Mix and then apply evenly over the entire face.

- As a mask: After washing your face and ideally exfoliating it, take a sufficient amount of moisturizing gel and add four to six drops of product. Leave on for about 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

- With a lotion: After washing your face, pour a few drops of lotion and a few drops of essence onto a cotton pad or into the palm of your hand. Gently spread over the entire face. It is also possible to add other essences depending on the desired effects.
