Sumitani Saburo Shōten was founded in 1939 in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, where copper smelting has been a major industry for over 400 years. Heir to this Japanese know-how, Sumitani Saburo Shōten creates a wide variety of household and decorative items by combining original castings and new metal treatment technologies (iron, aluminum, tin and brass).
