The mask uses an air-activated self-heating system developed by Kao. Upon contact with oxygen, a thin layer of iron powder generates gentle, controlled heat, evenly distributed through a breathable multi-layered structure.
This heat transforms internal moisture into light steam, maintaining a temperature of approximately 40°C for nearly 20 minutes.
Research conducted by Kao on periocular warming highlights temperature variations in the extremities of the body, similar to those observed during the onset of sleep.
