Handmade in Japan, HOMARE sandals are inspired by traditional sandals but enhanced with a biomechanical design validated by Kumamoto University.
Active toe stimulation: A small ridge placed at the front and a specific air cushion encourage the toes to naturally grasp and stretch. This strengthens the arch, maintains mobility, and prevents the loss of foot tone.
Gentle correction and prevention of deformities: The inclined angle at the front opens and stretches the big toe, helping to gradually correct hallux valgus. A widened surface and reinforced support around the big toe wrap the sensitive area, reducing pressure and pain linked to bunions.
Natural posture and smooth walking: The thickened sole under the heel (25 mm) creates a slight forward inclination, which helps maintain an upright posture and relieves the lower back. The rounded heel facilitates step transition, while the 15 mm raised toe makes each push-off smoother and more natural.
Protective cushioning: A shock absorption system protects the heels, knees, and hips, making everyday walking more comfortable.
ThioClean germanium-enriched fibers: provide a warming effect and stimulate blood circulation.
Traditional igusa tatami: known for its breathable and insulating properties.
