Bijo; stands for Beauty Innovative Japanese Originality. Founded in 2015 it aims to curate and share our beauty and wellness discoveries, from Japan but not solely. Each niche beauty and lifestyle brands are selected for their effectiveness and beautiful design.
Raised in Japan in a unique environment, Keiko Suyama grew up surrounded by Japanese philosophy and aesthetics. From the moment she started travelling around the world to discover outstanding wellness traditions, she became passionate about mixing holistic rituals to create her own beauty and wellness lifestyle.
Each year, we introduce a selection of Japanese beauty and lifestyle brands during our seasonal pop-up stores in Paris (and more recently in London). During these events, Japan lovers and clean beauty addicts (re) discover traditional Japanese treasures along with the innovations that enrich Japanese people’s lives.
