A brand created by a hairstylist

TRESSE was born from the world of Shuco, a Japanese hairstylist.
The brand’s name means “braid” in French. It refers to the joy we can feel as children when discovering a new hairstyle for the first time: that desire to play with our hair, experiment and change things up.
Launched in 2020, the brand is also inspired by what Shuco observed during her stays in Paris: the colors, landscapes, textures and that particular way of creating a style through a few carefully chosen details.
TRESSE translates this sensibility into accessories made from quality materials, designed to easily transform the look of a hairstyle.
The idea isn’t to create complicated hairstyles. Quite the opposite: simply tie your hair, then add the right piece.
Dress simply, then add a “hair piece”

This is probably what we love most about the TRESSE philosophy.
Jeans, a white shirt, knitwear or a very simple dress can become something entirely different when you add a sculptural oversized scrunchie, a velvet bow or a graphic hair clip.
The hair accessory is no longer simply functional. It becomes part of the silhouette.
TRESSE plays extensively with volume: some scrunchies are intentionally oversized, ribbons make a statement and the materials immediately bring a new texture to the hairstyle.
A simple low bun or ponytail can therefore be all you need.
It’s also a rather liberating way to think about hairstyling: there’s no need to master a particular technique to create an effect.
The scrunchie, the TRESSE way
The scrunchie naturally holds an important place in the collection.
But at TRESSE, it can become much more than a fabric-covered hair tie.

Big Rose ChouChou
The Big Rose ChouChou plays with volume to instantly add presence to a ponytail or bun.

Noah Big Chouchou
Available in our selection in Green and Grey, the Noah Big Chouchou follows the same idea: making the accessory the centerpiece of the hairstyle.

Set of 3 Lola Mini ChouChou
The Set of 3 Lola Mini ChouChou lets you work with subtler details, create multiple small hair ties or simply choose your accessory according to the outfit of the day.
The brand also creates designs combining a scrunchie with a decorative element, such as the PETITE SOPHIE and MARIE, which add more movement and texture to a very simple hairstyle.
Ribbons, clips and headbands: change your hairstyle without starting over

The Classic Ruban Clip lets you add a bow directly to an existing hair tie.
The Leather Ruban Clip offers a different contrast, with a more structured material and a less romantic feel.
The same idea can be found in the Leather Ribbon Serre-tête: the hairstyle can remain extremely simple, while the accessory is enough to build the look.

Leather Ribbon Serre-tête
An accessory that can define the look while keeping the hairstyle extremely simple.
The MAISON Hair Clip, available in Marble, Gray and Ecru shades in our selection, offers a more minimalist option: a clip that can be used to quickly pin back part of the hair or create an effortless updo.
This is something TRESSE does particularly well: creating accessories with enough personality to make an impact, while remaining easy to incorporate into everyday life.
A hairstyle in just a few seconds

Another appeal of these accessories is how easy they are to use.
A low ponytail with an oversized scrunchie.
A quick bun finished with a ribbon.
A few strands pinned back with a clip.
A headband worn with naturally styled hair.
There’s no need to completely transform your hairstyle.
The accessory simply finishes the look.
This is actually very close to the way the brand itself presents its creations: pieces that can quickly change the overall impression of a hairstyle or add a more dressed-up touch.
Why Bijo; selected TRESSE

At Bijo;, we often talk about Japanese beauty through skincare and Beauty Tech.
But J-Beauty is also about how we style our hair, choose an accessory and build our everyday look.
We were drawn to TRESSE because the brand doesn’t try to make hairstyling complicated.
It offers exactly the opposite: start with something simple and let one strong piece make all the difference.
The fact that the brand was created by a hairstylist also comes through in the proportions, volumes and the way the accessories are designed to work directly in the hair.
We also love this dialogue between Japan and Paris, which has been part of the brand from the beginning: a Japanese sensitivity to detail, enriched by the colors and images Shuco encountered during her time in France.
A style philosophy that feels particularly at home at SUPER JAPON: introducing contemporary Japanese objects that can be immediately integrated into everyday life.
