Massage roller with 272 needles, intended for massaging the body to relieve its innumerable fascia, soothe stiffness and swelling.

What are fascia?

The fascia is the membrane that surrounds the muscles and extends throughout the body. It is connected to muscle fibers, organs and nerves and covers the entire body in three dimensions. The fascia protects the muscles, helps them slide during muscle contraction, and allows the passage of blood vessels, nerves and lymphatic vessels.

When the body is unbalanced due to asymmetrical postures and movements, prolonged use of the same posture, injuries and other factors that put pressure on certain parts of the body, the fascia cannot move freely. This results in a fascia twisting and a loss of smooth sliding between the fascia and skin/muscles.

Technology

This massage roller was developed under the supervision of sports coach Yuka Hoshino.

Its multiple needles are designed from 5 different metals and are inspired by the traditional knowledge of acupuncture.

The roller is composed of 272 needles placed on a medical grade silicone support that thanks to its cushioning properties makes the practice painless.

Among the five metals that make up the needles, titanium has been selected for its ability to regulate the body’s bio-current.

Results & Benefits

Body massage with the EKATO roller relieves fascia* on a daily basis and thus relieves tension, stiffness and swelling.

It can release countless small fascia that are known to be difficult to access such as the scalp, facial line, neck, and fingertips.

It drains and activates blood circulation for a feeling of lightness throughout the body.

*Fascia is a fibroelastic membrane that envelops the entire anatomical structure.

The Ritual

Roll the roller on clean, dry skin with small back and forth motions.

Areas to massage:

Fingertips, hands, arms up to the shoulders then towards the head.

The line around the face, neck and scalp.

Feet, legs, back and pelvic area up to the hips.

An illustrated manual comes with the roller.

Exceptional Materials

Titanium, zinc, copper, nickel, iron and silicone.

The Body Meditation Roller is not waterproof. To keep the main unit clean, clean the roller after each use.

- Use a brush and water to clean the roller.

- Wipe the entire roll thoroughly with a dry cloth or cotton swab to dry completely.

- Store roller in well ventilated area. Dirt or moisture on the surface of the main unit can cause the roller to deteriorate.

- Do not combine roller with organic solvents such as solvent, benzine, alcohol, paint thinner. This can lead to discoloration or even rust of the roller.

J’utilise par ailleurs le Face Pointer et j’aime le complément plus doux du Body Meditation Roller.
Il est posé sur mon bureau et j’adore le passer sur mon crâne et dans mon cou quand je sens que je fronce trop les sourcils ;)
