There are over 40 different types of ingredients in the extracted essential oil of the Aomori Hiba. The two main ingredients, Hinokitiol and β-Dolabrin, have a strong anti-bacterial effect.
Trees with Hinokitiol and β-Dolabrin are rare in the world. In Japan, only Aomori Hiba has these two ingredients.
It also repels parasites like moths and insects and prevents mold growth.
This oil can be used as an air purifier. It is also an antibacterial agent for cars and shoe boxes.
